Maternity Leave

After many years behind the chair and so many wonderful clients who have become like family, I’m taking a little time away for a very special reason — i’m becoming a mama!!

Baby girl will be arriving this fall, and I’m so excited (and a little emotional!) to step away from the shop for a while to soak up those first precious moments with her.

My maternity leave will begin September 2026

During this time, the shop will be operating on a very limited schedule. I’m hoping to return part-time around mid-January, but i’ll keep everyone updated on this website as the time gets closer. My schedule will likely be very limited as I ease back into work.

I am so incredibly grateful for every single one of you who has supported my small business, trusted me with your hair, and continued to come back year after year! Taking this time away is definitely bittersweet, but I’m so excited for this next chapter and for you all to eventually meet my little girl! Thank you all for your patience, and understanding and continued support while I take the time away.

Why Native Hair SF

In the midst of all the craziness going on in our world, I’m a firm believer that there is always a positive to a negative.

This has been years of imagining and dreaming. Years of hard work and plenty of ups & downs. Lots of long days and nights of working hard to achieve my end goal, which is to be an owner of my own shop.

Native Hair SF has come alive because I’m extremely proud to be a San Francisco born shop owner in the heart of my city!
